A new independent body has been set up to
represent people working in the probate genealogy
industry. The International Association of Professional
Probate Researchers, Genealogists & Heir Hunters
(IAPPR) was launched in August by Finders
International – a company that features in the
BBC series Heir Hunters. The organisation says it
aims to be a “source of opinion and advice” for
people tracing beneficiaries to unclaimed estates,
assets and funds.
